Education & Awareness
Beyond our core campaign, we also prioritize awareness and education to create supportive communities. We joined healthcare advocates across the nation in observing PTSD Awareness Day 2024 on June 27th.Supporters of integrative health have launched campaigns to educate the general public about the many possible applications of holistic healing. We joined and took part in workshops at co-ops in Madison and Milwaukee as part of their summer 2024 kickoff.We rounded out our most recent efforts at UW-Whitewater, where amazing students and staff held discussions about the healing benefits of art and creative writing.[email protected]
Reimagining Recovery
“Reimagining Recovery” is our campaign to sponsor social experiments focused on raising awareness and aiding the recovery of the lone survivor at the heart of our non-medical, alternative initiative. Our multifaceted approach combines interactive art sessions and touch-based interventions to foster a sense of safety and facilitate the emotional and physical processing of stored, unresolved trauma.It is imperative to note that our initiative is rooted in creativity, kindness and innovation, not the medical field. We are not doctors or counselors. We are artists, holistic health enthusiasts, and visionaries. Our collective efforts are channeled towards harnessing the power of positive, healthy interaction to inspire, educate and heal.
Creative Works
We believe creative expression is a powerful tool for fostering healthy self-exploration and open communication. That's why we champion creative works – especially art and writing – that delve into the rich experiences of alternative communities.Our primary writing initiative is Ink & Insight – a communications and public relations venture that celebrates alternative communities. We aim to curate blogs and publish books that explore alternative healing practices, kink/fetish lifestyles, and powerful personal narratives. By sharing diverse modalities and stories, we aim to reduce stigma and promote understanding.
Autumn Art
Each year, communities, colleges, and organizations across southern Wisconsin host art events that provide local artists the chance to showcase and sell their artwork. We are gearing up to participate in these incredible art shows with our own collection of seasonally-themed creations. Join us today and be part of this effort.
